Platform transparency
MakeAppVisible is a marketplace for app discovery and growth services. This page explains how the platform uses automation, what role AI plays (and does not play), and how listed third-party apps relate to our own systems.
Automation on the platform
Several features use automated, rule-based logic — not machine-learning models:
- Catalogue search — text matching and filters over app and service listings.
- Analytics — aggregated page views and outbound store-link clicks for app owners.
- Expert ratings — average scores from reviews left after completed tracked contracts only.
Paid featured placements are time-bound and always labelled Sponsored when shown.
AI on MakeAppVisible
We do not deploy AI systems on the MakeAppVisible platform itself. The production marketplace does not use large language models, computer vision, biometric identification, emotion inference, or similar AI to operate the site, sort listings, moderate content, or process payments.
Specifically, we do not use:
- AI-driven subliminal or manipulative techniques in UX or communications.
- AI-based social scoring of individuals for general-purpose treatment decisions.
- Real-time biometric identification in public spaces.
- Emotion recognition of users or employees.
- Facial image scraping to build recognition databases.
Content moderation, expert verification, share-reward claims, bug reports, and contract disputes are reviewed by humans (with an audit trail), not by automated AI decision systems.
If we introduce AI features in the future — for example, a support assistant — we will disclose that clearly to users and update this page before they go live.
EU AI Act
The EU Artificial Intelligence Act regulates providers and deployers of AI systems. Because MakeAppVisible does not deploy prohibited or high-risk AI systems as part of the platform, most AI Act obligations do not apply to our core marketplace software today.

Listed apps and services (third parties)
MakeAppVisible lists apps and services published by independent founders and experts. Some listed products may themselves be AI-powered (for example, an AI storytelling or audio app). Those products are offered by their respective publishers, not by MakeAppVisible.
We do not control how third-party apps process personal data or whether they comply with the AI Act. Buyers and users should review each publisher's terms, privacy policy, and app-store disclosures before use.
Third-party processors
We use established infrastructure providers (hosting, database, payments, OAuth sign-in). Payment processing is handled by Stripe under its own terms. These providers may use automated fraud or security systems on their side; we do not embed those as MakeAppVisible AI features.
