Review integrity policy

Public reviews build trust only when they reflect real experiences. MakeAppVisible enforces the following rules in line with the UK CMA fake-review guidance and equivalent EU consumer protection rules:

What is allowed

• Reviews from users who have used the app or completed a tracked contract.
• Honest critical reviews with specifics — what worked, what did not.
• Owner responses to reviews, with the same moderation standards.

What is not allowed

• Paid, traded or incentivised reviews of apps or services.
• Reviews from competitors with the explicit intent to harm.
• Personal attacks, harassment, discrimination, or doxxing.
• Automated review submission of any kind.

How we enforce

• Transaction-gated public service reviews — only after a completed tracked contract.
• Manual moderation queue for borderline cases with an immutable audit log.
• Penalties for organisations or users found manipulating reviews.
